My art is available for purchase on this website and at various shows and festivals across North Carolina and Virginia. If you are an email subscriber, you will receive updates whenever I am exhibiting in a show or have work displayed at a local gallery. Once you've made your purchase, if you require shipping or delivery, please read the next section carefully. Always feel free to contact me with any questions prior to purchasing.
SHIPPING | DELIVERY | PICK-UP
If you are not within driving distance of the NC Piedmont Triad (Winston Salem/Greensboro/High Point), the painting will need to be shipped, and it may take up to two weeks for it to ship.
IMPORTANT: Shipping will be billed separately after the painting is purchased from this website. Size, weight and distance from my home studio all affect the pricing, as well as weight of the specific piece which will vary according to substrate material and whether it is framed or unframed. I try to work with my collectors and keep the cost of packing and shipping as reasonable as possible.
Local pickup has many advantages, and offers a cost savings over shipping. I am happy to discuss your specific options based on location and proximity to my home studio, and I may be able to deliver your new purchase to you at a nominal cost!
FRAMING
Once you acquire your art, it may or may not be framed.
Quite a few factors determine whether it is necessary to frame your art and if so, how:
What is the depth of your art?
If your art is on a deep canvas frame or any material that is 1.5”+ deep, you may wish to keep it unframed. This is personal preference.
I often advises people who are unsure, to “live with it for a while.” If the deep is less than 1” deep, it would be best to frame it.
Your art might also be on a flat (think the thickness of cardboard) material such a linen or canvas panel, gesso board, etc. in which case it would need to be framed unless you would like to display it on a small display easel.
Art on paper would need to be matted and framed behind glass.
Bottom line ... I want this entire process to be a smooth and easy one for you from start to finish, and I can help you with most of your matting and framing work that you choose!
