My Story
I'm Wanda, a Virginia Beach native and self-taught artist who has fallen head-over-heels in love with painting coastal life and mountain landscapes. I have an impressionist style that focuses less on details and more on color and light and how much joy there is in just painting from the heart. From my home in central North Carolina, I am just a few short hours away from the endless beaches to the east and the gorgeous mountains to the west and there I find my inspiration.

My hope is that the art I create will inspire sweet memories + add a little extra joy and happiness to this life, while creating something beautiful and meaningful for your walls!

My 14-year-old self would be ecstatic to learn how I translate my love for the sights, sounds & smells of my coastal beginnings into my art. My gratitude for where I am today cannot be expressed in words, so I paint.

My husband Paul and I share our home in rural North Carolina with our three dogs, three cats and a small flock of very pampered chickens. I love the outdoors, and I love using vibrant, joyful colors to capture that beauty.

Inspired by light and color, my goal is to create art that is unique and fresh and will be loved by my collectors for years to come. I love how a piece of art can complete a room and be a constant reminder of something you love.
